Maundy Thursday
Join us for Holy Eucharist, Rite II.
Maundy Thursday is the name given to the day on which Jesus celebrated the Passover with his disciples, known as the Last Supper. In remembrance of how Jesus humbled himself and washed the feet of his disciples, those who wish participate in foot washing as a powerful reminder of how we are called to live the Christian life. We will conclude our service with the Stripping of the Altar as a powerful visual reminder and transition into the starkness of our Good Friday liturgy.
