On Palm Sunday, which falls on the Sunday before Easter, we commemorate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. During this observance, the congregation processes into the church while carrying palms and wearing palm crosses. These symbolic gestures represent the palms that were waved and strewn before Jesus by the eager crowd awaiting His arrival. As we participate in these traditions, we reflect upon and remember Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice and the profound events of His Passion on the Cross.  Holy Eucharist follows.
