Opportunities to Connect

Book Club

This monthly gathering is open to everyone! We discuss a new book each month and genres vary. This group meets in the parlor at St. Thomas.

BBQ Bandits

The BBQ Bandits is a group of adults who prepare, cook, and sell BBQ several times a year to support local and national charities. Besides Lobsterfest, recipients of the proceeds from BBQ Bandits fundraisers include First Stop, Make-a-Wish Foundation, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Email the BBQ Bandits for more information.

St. Thomas Presents

St. Thomas Presents is a committee dedicated to bringing a variety of entertainment to St. Thomas. Once a quarter we invite local musicians to share their talents with members of the parish and with the larger community. Concerts range from lively jazz to line dancing to works by Vivaldi, Schubert, and Prokofiev. Concerts are free and open to the public, but donations for the performers are greatly appreciated! Check our events page and our Facebook page for the next event!

Everybody’s Pub Theology

This monthly group of all ages meets at a local restaurant to discuss how current contexts intersect with how we live our lives in Christ. Email The Rev. Ranie Neislar with any questions at associate@stthomashuntsville.org.

Young Adult Pub Theology

This monthly group of 22-39ish-year-olds meets at a local restaurant to discuss how our Theology shapes how we consider current issues. Email The Rev. Ranie Neislar with any questions at associate@stthomashuntsville.org.

Silver Saints

Silver Saints Movie Matinee offers fun and fellowship with our parishioners and visitors much like going to a theater but with no fee. The group watches a movie together one Thursday afternoon a month starting at 1:00 pm. Snacks, beverages, and transportation are offered.

Join us for an upcoming event!
