Live. Laugh. Lobster.

Saturday, November 12

10 AM-6 PM

Drive-Through Only 12200 Bailey Cove Rd.

What is Lobsterfest?

Lobsterfest is a huge BBQ/lobster boil party open to the Huntsville community that St. Thomas Episcopal Church has been hosting since 1994.

Due to the pandemic, the event shifted to drive-through only for the past couple of years (including this year!), but in past years it looked a lot like this:

Lalalalala lobsters

  • 2,000 live lobsters flown from Maine the day before the event
  • Lobsters a-la-carte or along with your favorite sides
  • No-fuss lobster rolls if you don’t like all that cracking and tearing

Smoked BBQ

  • Smoke on-site, overnight
  • 400 whole slabs of ribs
  • 700 pounds of pulled pork

Sides, Soups, and Sauces

  • Made-from-scratch “Fat Man’s BBQ Sauce” with secret ingredients
  • All those country fixin’s like slaw and potato salad
  • Our signature taco soup (which seems random, but you won’t think so after you taste it)

First Stop is a Huntsville-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to encounter the homeless where they are, connect them to critical services and support, and empower them toward independent sustainable living.

The Honduras Medical & Educational Mission provides essential care to Hondurans year-round. It provides educational help and resources, along with medical care! St. Thomas supports this organization throughout the year by dispatching medical and dental professionals to serve in clinics in Honduras as well as providing financial support for those students who choose to continue their education beyond the sixth grade.

What to Do on Event Day

Get in line in the North Parking Lot (expect to wait up to 20 minutes as lobsters are cooked to order!).

If you ordered online, give your name, order number, phone number, or credit card number to the volunteer who will be assisting you. They will take care of the rest!

In-person, day-of orders are allowed but not encouraged (we sell out of lobsters FAST!). Volunteers have menus on hand for your convenience. They will direct you to a parking spot and happily assist you with your requests.

Before you leave, check your order to make sure we got it correct! Then, exit South of the church and enjoy!

Oops! I ordered too many lobsters.

No problem! Click the button below and simply forward your invoice to us. We will get your order refunded ASAP. Please note that we only accept cancelations up until the day before Lobsterfest (November 11th).
